My Morning Jacket, Santana, Wilco, Ani DiFranco and The Decemberists have also become aligned with the organization, joining longtime supporters such as Dave Matthews Band, Allman Brothers Band and members of The Grateful Dead and Phish. HeadCount's army of volunteers will stage voter registration drives at over 1,000 concerts this year, with a goal or registering at least 100,000 voters." - Jambase.com

Alright PF'ers, what I did is I used an invision board I had created a long time ago, and kind of always used as a "temp", it's always worked well and never bugged so, we'll try it out as our new home! The adress is http://z2.invisionfree.com/pictureframe/, I'll setup a redirect from the old url. PS. Don't forget some of you have accounts there already, so check.
There might be new tour dates but they haven't been formally announced on John's websites yet. By the way the forum got hacked, and the database got deleted, so it's pretty much gone. I don't know what to do about it yet, the server is really bad at letting these things happen, so I'll keep you posted.
Hey guys! No we're not dead, I'm here all the time, but since there isn't anything going on with John's career (yeah tons of gossip which we don't care for), things are quiet. However a friend of mine is working on a new look for this site, so revamp coming finally. For now, we have a new article about John being a DJ on XM radio, here. I added a pic from that in the gallery.
We also have two new links/affiliates. Coincidentally both new John sites, and both brazilian! johnmayer.com.br by Vivi, and johnmayerbr.com by Sylvia.
John will be playing at the Mile High Music Festival, along with Dave Matthews, Tom Petty and others. It takes place July 19-20, tickets go on sale March 29, more info here.
"Rock and blues artist John Mayer will perform at the 2008 California Mid-State Fair, and pop singer Colbie Caillat will open his show." - San Luis Obispo County.
Really nothing going on as of late. I'm posting to inform everyone that there is a new italian JM blog out there, The Heart of Life JM. They are looking to bring John to Europe so go and support them!
News about John having a summer tour: bringing Colbie Caillat and Brett Dennen along, and it starts in July. Info here.
"Bono, Fergie and John Mayer were added to the list of performers who will take the stage as part of "Idol Gives Back," the program's second annual charity event set to air April 9 on Fox." -Variety.com
Another thing, John and others were honored by Cosmopolitan, at the Fun and Fearless awards, article here. Pics here.
Another performance for John...

Looks like Continuum will be released YET AGAIN, this time, with Say on it.

John just posted that he will be on Tim and Eric tonight at 10PM estern. The stream is here. (He took the blog down now)
Pictures from last night!
Best Male Pop Vocal Performance (which John was nominated in for Belief) went to Justin's "What goes around...comes around". You can see the entire list here.
Also, John performed with Alicia as planned, however John only played for a little while in one song, so it was short!
John is going to perform with Alicia Keys tomorrow! Details here.
Added more of Claudia's Mayercraft pics, as well as Stephen's, which are absolutely amazing! If I don't update before then (although I might if I find pictures or what not), the Grammy Awards are tomorrow in CBS at 8PM eastern.
Best Life is actually from Men's Health and I thought it was two different ones! *slaps head* Alright, here are the scans. I also got some Mayercraft pictures from Claudia, thank you for those! Lastly the Grammy buzz is starting, and John will be performing, check out this MTV article on that.
John is in Best Life magazine, with a pretty long article and great photoshoots, you can read it on Try, gonna try and find it later today:)
I found a YouTube video with a song John performed on Night 1 of the cruise, right before "Heart of Life", sounds great! Click here to see.
To check out photos and stuff that happened on the Cruise check out Best Week Ever, there is also the official blog here. If you wanna share your experience you can also e-mail me (dora(at)j-mayer(dot)org. Also I found this Ebay auction with the March issue of Men's Health, looks like John is on the cover!!
So the Mayercraft just sailed off last night and here's the setlist for last night.
John's going to perform at Hyde Park, "Hard Rock Calling" on the 28 and 29 of June, along with Eric Clapton, Sheryl Crow, K.T. Tunstall and more. Thank you to Duke for the info.
ŅEric Clapton and The Police have been unveiled as the headliners for this years Hyde Park Calling Festival in London.
Clapton will headline the first night of the two day event Š which runs from June 28th-29th Š with special guest appearances from Sheryl Crow and John Mayer.
KT Tunstall and Starsailor, meanwhile, will join The Police on the Sunday, with more guests expected to be announced shortly.

Alternatively, you can call our ticket hotline on 0871 230 1098."
View more info on Hyde Park Calling and Gigwise.
Hey guys, not much to post about lately, but a few things: If you haven't seen them, there's pictures of John and Miley Cyrus after her concert (thanks Ming for the link!). And I found this on Try Jm/from Julie, John mentioned in a Lenny Kravitz interview, here. Lenny says "Yeah, he's a great guitar player". (You can read the full story on the link)
Nothing new but I just noticed that John's JT cover is a FEATURED video on YouTube today:)
On People.com they are discussing John's absolutely fantastic Youtube video (in which he covers a Justin beat), check out the video and article here. Also we just got a new co-web here, her name is Danielle, you can e-mail her news and stuff as well, dania(at)j-mayer(dot)org.
Alright so I added Glamour scan and the Cosmo scans.
There's a video on Eonline with info on John's new cover for Cosmopolitan! View it here. I will get a copy tomorrow hopefully, with some nice scans:)
Alright attempting to get things back to normal. I added a link in the contacting John page, (closest page relevant to this) John Mayer Booking Agent. I was contacted to exchange links with them, and it's genuine, so if you have the money for it, you can book John. Just remember this is a site to book artists, not talk to them through it.
Also found a link with a video with John talking about the Bucket List, there's also a transcript of it.
Another mini update with a new article from Extra, ohn Mayer Named Fun and Fearless by Cosmo.
So the site just got hacked earlier today, which sucks. We'll be trying to find out what happened and how to prevent it.
Rumor has it that "Say" might be Oscar-worthy!
"I was approached approximately a month ago by a music fan who believed this song may be in the running for an Academy Award this year. It's a bittersweet song for a bittersweet film, and it's generating Oscar buzz elsewhere, too. When the nominations for the 80th Academy Awards are announced January 22, 2008, will John Mayer be among the 5 chosen to compete for Best Song?" Found here.
Nothing much going on, added a Pete Wentz quote about John, thank you to Sarah for that. I also added loads of icons made by Jess.
There's a new guitar fundraiser John is participating in, to support the US Troops, check that out here.
Hope everyone has a Happy and safe 2008!
A blurb about what John has been doing during the holiday time:
"JOHN MAYER (musician) 'I'm going to hang out with my family. ... You know you've got to work harder these days to disappear, so I'm going to try a little harder, which basically means I won't leave the house or the studio.'" from Chicago Tribune. Great plan John!!
Have a Merry Christmas/Happy Holiday everyone!
Not much news but John will be on Conan the 29th, but it's a repeat from 2005.
Couple more things, La Times blog reviewing "Say", read that here. And John performed with Rob Thomas this morning at WPLJ FM, info/pic here.
Pino has an interview up on Bass Player, around the end he says "The Who will tour into next spring, and the John Mayer Trio will be backŃwhich IÕm thrilled about, because itÕs some of the most fun IÕve ever had. IÕm just happy and very fortunate to be able to ride the wave.", so Trio is coming back in 2008!
Added pics from the Bucket List premiere which was yesterday. And a blurb on USA Today:
""This is a song that was written completely for the movie. I didn't write a single word until I saw the film. The song was born completely out of the movie and I'm so honored that anyone would think to hand me this project. It was one of the few moments of my career where I could look outward and tell where I was. It was like, 'Wow. This is Jack Nicholson and Rob Reiner.' " —John Mayer, who wrote and performed Say for the film"
Wasn't able to get ACL caps yet but I'm workin on it!
John played with Stevie Wonder last night! From TMZ.
"Stevie Wonder and John Mayer Sing for Toys
Posted Dec 16th 2007 6:00PM by TMZ Staff
Legenday ivory tickler Stevie Wonder and self-proclaimed douchebag John Mayer performed together last night -- as Stevie held his annual "House Full of Toys" benefit concert in at Nokia Theater in L.A.
R&B swooner John Legend also joined Stevie on stage, bringing an early Christmas to a lot of surprised fans. Merry Hanukkah!"

Ok so I'm having much more time to update now:) I found this article about John helping the Two-Rocks amp company. Read that here.
John among with other artists are in the trailer of the new movie "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story", you can watch it here, and there's an ET clip here. It comes out December 21. Also, from MTV, "the Beach Boy will take part in a Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp 10th anniversary shindig in Hollywood on February 15-18. Members of John Mayer's band". Here are some pictures from the Walk Hard Premiere which was yesterday.
Added new pictures from the Holiday Charity show here. Also, here's some info about the Austin City Limits episode John is on. Also here's a page with info on the lunchbox John designed (with pic). Lastly John posted about the DVD on his official blog, and here are some pictures from that.

Arbell has sent me a press release about the Crossroads DVD...
"Three years ago, Eric Clapton assembled a who's who of guitar masters for the first Crossroads Guitar Festival, raising funds for the Crossroads Centre, Antigua, a chemical dependency treatment and education facility Clapton founded. The sold-out show yielded a double-DVD that has been certified platinum eight times on the way to becoming one of the worlds' top-selling music DVDs."
"In a second stunning effort earlier this year, Clapton invited old friends and new for the Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago. The all-star cast featured Steve Winwood, B.B. Alright here it goes!
Very short setlist:
Waiting on the world to change
Gravity
Thats it. But before that, he did a duet with Sarah, on "World on Fire". Sarah was awesome and John too, but yeah, way, way, way too short. The rest of the performances were OK. I added my extremely crappy pictures just for the heck of it, here, didn't have great seats, but the fun only lasted 10 minutes:) Come back soon John!
Gazette show review here.
If any of you are going to the Montreal AIDS concert tonight, someone on MSM posted a schedule of that might happen tonight. John played a show in New York yesterday, and some new tunes, including "Let a Man Be Lost". He posted a blog about it and some upcoming plans here.
Chris sent me an e-mail about that song "Say" that John had written for a movie, which is called "The Bucket List", apparently the song title is actually "Say what you need to say", although I haven't found much info on that...just this link, and here is the trailer for the movie (which looks great!).
Micael sent me this oldish video, about when John was in the recording studio 2 years ago, check it out here.

Digital
Version, available in the iTunes UK Store. The album will include three bonus tracks from The Village Sessions EP as well as a digital booklet."
Another blurb from FoxNews
"Clapton: Wonderful Last Night
Eric Clapton’s memoir is excerpted this month in Vanity Fair, so it only made sense that the magazine gave a little fete for him Wednesday night.
The location, of course, was Editor in Chief Graydon Carter’s Waverly Inn, where the Clapton crowd took up the whole back garden area.
Among the guests were John Mayer, record producer Russ Titelman, VF rock writer Lisa Robinson (who did a swell job on the current issue’s music features), former MTV/Viacom chief Tom Freston, charming Time Warner investor Vivo Nevo and Armani PR ambassador Wanda McDaniel, among others."

"John Mayer's "Continuum" will be re-released in a special two-disc expanded edition on November 20. Bonus material has not been announced, but look for a half dozen live tracks to augment the original album along with new artwork and an expanded booklet. More details to come.
The releases of Mayer's "Unplugged" project, meanwhile, has been pushed back to 2008. In addition to collaborating with Alicia Keys on her new album, Mayer has begun work on his next studio project, promising an even more different approach musically. Describing a mix of blues, R+B, hip-hop, jazz and rock, Mayer says he's looking to create "modern music.""

Also appearing during this season’s seventeen-week run are John Mayer, Bloc Party, and Crowded House. We’ve already set our TiVos for the 11/3 (Wilco) and 11/10 (Arcade Fire) episodes". Here's another Rolling Stone blurb: "The red carpet fuss at last night’s VH1 Save the Music gala centered around two people: John Mayer and Mariah Carey. Quick-witted Mayer seemed especially eager to avoid commenting on his personal life (in answer to the query “Who’s the lady in your life” he responded, “Aunt Jemima, and I can’t wait to go home and get me some flapjacks!”). Mayer confirmed to Rock Daily that he’s planning to relax a bit before working on his next record, and when asked who he’d like to secure for his upcoming rock cruise, he proclaimed, “I want Isaac!” The bartender from The Love Boat? We think so."
