The younger days of John Mayer

What he remembers most about his childhood in Conneticut:
Watching the weather report
"I remember waking up on winter mornings, looking out my window and seeing eight inches of snow. Then Geoff would instill hope that the next day of school would be canceled."

Movies:
He was very fond of "Big", and especially of "Back to the Future", the movie that got him into the guitar!

1983:
Room for Squares has many references to his childhood, such as when he was 6 years old, his lunchbox, and Super Man cape.

Principal's pet:
John use to sneak into his dad's office (Who was a principal), and steal all the confiscated walkman's.

Teenage Years:
When John was 16 he became apart of an exchange student program, and traveled to Japan. That is when he learned all about their culture.

His very first job was in a supermarket, but he then went on to work in a Mobil gas station. The best squigee in the land?
